TPC Back on the Air

We have resumed normal broadcasting operations. We are still working on a solution to bringing the Free Speech TV content back to The People’s Channel.  We have consulted with some engineers who have provided alternatives that we are now exploring.

We hope to be able to resolve this issue soon. For now, we have a delayed feed of Democracy Now! which we are using to fill some of the holes in our schedule. 

Our Office Will Reopen in Spring 2023

The People’s Channel is excited to announce a new chapter in our growth as the public access media outlet for Chapel Hill, Durham, Carrboro, and Hillsborough. We closed our 250 South Elliot Rd office in Chapel Hill in January, and we’ll be re-opening at a new location in the Spring of 2023.

While we get our new office set up, we’ll be operating without an office, but will continue to broadcast original content from local producers in the Triangle. We anticipate being off the air for at least a few days while we move equipment. During our transition, you can continue to reach us by email or through our (919)960-0088 phone. We are planning to continue making equipment available for check-out, and may be able to provide access to editing computers on request.
