Summer Youth Media Camp Instructors

The Peoples Channel, Chapel Hill and Orange County’s nonprofit public access TV station and community media center is currently hiring media instructors for our Summer Youth Media Production Camp. For information about the camp, please visit http://www.thepeopleschannel.org/mediacamp.htm
Candidates may apply for all or any of the individual sessions.
We are hiring both full/part time, contracted positions for each session.
Candidates should have experience working with youth ages 13-18, be technically proficient in media production hardware and software, and have some experience with media literacy concepts. Instructors must be able to provide clean background check.
Candidates will be compensated to work with the Executive Director and Media Camp Committee to develop specific curriculum for each session prior to session start date.

Compensation is $600 for par time and $1,200 full time per session with paid planning pre sessions.
